Get task-by-task onboarding cases in your inbox, tailored to ICP fit and product behaviour.
In sending onboarding emails or in-app messages to help onboard a new signup, most tools do not take into account the fact that the signup might already have completed certain features. The onboarding sequence then typically consist of difference messages, with interim delays of one to a few days, yet independent of any user behaviour.
And in a B2B environment, this gets incrementally important. You may have 2 admins setting up different parts of the platform —take HubSpot as a good example— and you want to avoid sending setup emails to an admin that was already set up by the other admin. At any time, you want to send personalised emails to users, based on what the assembly of all users of an accounts has already performed...
And yet, how annoying it is to receive an email that explains how to do something that you've meanwhile already done many times over. Or that your colleague has meanwhile done... It reflects poor insight from the vendor and frankly also reflects poor brand value, next to making the onboarding unnecessarily more difficult.
And if an eager marketer wants to implement some sort of account-user-relationship-based drip campaigns, mostly depending on the platform sending some counters from the platform into his/her marketing automations tool, he/she is often faced with needing to create difficult campaigns with multiple counters and goal-exit-nodes with as-difficult conditions. And actually more often, due to challenging user roles and multiple account relationships, this becomes impossible.
journy.io connects to both platform (and website) and marketing automation platform, will monitor every move and any property updates on the platform, —and based on logic rules— will add and remove contacts to/from engagement sequences in real-time.
This logic includes rules on user-account-role relationship such as sending only to certain roles of certain accounts, or not sending messages when other account relationships are contradicting. E.g. Will you send a 'thank you' email to a user that has just churned one account, but is still member of another that is still in trial?
The eager marketer will now only have to create one sequence per feature, and journy.io will make sure appropriate contacts will enter and exit the sequence in proper time, if at all and proper to his role. E.g. Contacts that belong to an account where someone has already set up 'Business Setting One' will never come into the 'Try Business Setting One' sequence, and thus never receive emails to try out 'Business Setting One'...
Moreover, the complexity of when an email can and cannot be send, is fully at the hands of that marketeer, by more point-and-click logic creation. There's no developer time involved anymore at that point, no other counters to be coded nor maintained...
